Union of Croatian Innovators (UIH) is the national association of individuals and associations of inventors from different parts of the Republic of Croatia.
The basic goal and the basic task of the Association is the development and improvement of innovation movement, the promotion of innovation activity, intellectual property and a better general status, assessment and giving awards to the innovative work.
In order to incorporate the organized inventive work into the commercialization of innovations and the creation of the Croatian Innovation System, the Croatian Association of Inventors has been systematically developing programs that help the members to become bolder and begin with the commercialization of innovations.
AGRO ARCA 2012 – the fair of innovations and new technologies in the function of developing ecological agriculture and food production is one of such programs.
By organizing a specialized fair, we want to create conditions where the exhibitors – agriculturalists and food producers would meet and connect with the potential buyers, i.e. partners in economy, tourism, trade and big trading chains.
An important factor in agriculture and food industry is surely the use and application of high technical and technological standards with which this production can seriously compete with high-developed countries – the well-known food producers.
The holding of AGRO ARCA 2012 fair in Slatina, the city with a century-old fair tradition, is also a stimulus and invitation to business people from Croatia and abroad to get to know the results of the work of our companies, academic community, family agricultural estates, cooperatives, craftsmen, inventors in the area of ecological agriculture and food production with the aim of promoting new ideas, ecological products and technologies that are based on their own knowledge and ability.
